Website terms
These terms cover buying the website shown in this preview and the optional monthly care plan. Short and clear, no surprises. Last updated September 30, 2026.
1. What you get for $299
- The website shown in this preview, set up with your business details.
- Launched on your web address (domain). If you don’t have one, I register one for you, in your name, with the first year included.
- Hosting at no extra cost.
- Live within 48 hours of getting your business details (and access to your web address, if you already have one).
- 1 week of free changes and support, starting the day your site goes live. That covers edits to text, photos, prices, hours, contact details, and small layout tweaks. New pages or new features are quoted separately.
2. Your web address
- Your web address is yours. If I register it for you, it’s in your name.
- After the first year, renewal (usually $10–$20 a year) is included while you’re on the care plan. Without the plan, you pay the yearly renewal.
- Already have a web address? You keep it where it is. I point it to your new site, and your email keeps working.
3. Care plan: $30 a month, optional
- An add-on for owners of the website. Add it when you launch, or anytime after.
- First month free when you add it at claim. Billing starts after that, unless you cancel first.
- Reply within 24 hours to every request.
- Unlimited small changes: text, photos, prices, hours, contact details, and small layout tweaks.
- Daily backups and uptime monitoring. If your site goes down, I get alerted and fix it.
- Domain renewal handled and included while you’re on the plan.
- Bigger projects, like a redesign, new pages, or new features, are quoted separately.
- Billed monthly. Cancel anytime at the billing page using the email you paid with. Your plan runs until the end of the month you’ve paid for. No refunds for partial months.
4. Refunds
7-day money-back guarantee. Changed your mind before your site goes live, or not happy within 7 days after it goes live? Tell me and you get a full refund of the $299. After that, it’s non-refundable.
5. Your content
Your business name, text, photos, and logo stay yours. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send for the site. Once paid for, the website is yours to use for your business.
6. Hosting
Your site runs on reliable, fast infrastructure, but no one can promise it’s online 100% of the time. If I ever stop offering hosting, you’ll get at least 30 days’ notice, your website files, and help moving them.
7. The fine print
I’m not responsible for lost business or other indirect losses. Total liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months. These terms may be updated, but changes never affect what you’ve already paid for.
